Records by Insurance

This report groups your clinical records by health insurance. This makes it easier to handle administrative tasks with insurance companies. It tells you how many consultations each insurance company had in a given period.

How to generate the report

  1. Open Reports > By Insurance from the side menu.
  2. Set the period with the From and To filters. There is no filter for a specific insurance: the report always groups every insurance in the period.
  3. Click Generate Report.

What the report shows

Summary

At the top you will see a summary with the Total Records for the period, the number of Distinct Insurances, and a breakdown of how many records belong to each insurance.

Data grouped by insurance and age range

Below the summary, records are shown in two collapsible grouping levels:

  1. First by health insurance (shows the total number of records for that insurance).
  2. Within each insurance, by age range (shows the number of records and unique patients in that range).

Expanding an age range shows a table with:

  • Reason: Reason for the consultation.
  • Patient: Patient name.
  • Age: Patient's age in years.
  • Record Date: Date of the consultation.
  • Creation Date: Date the record was registered in the system.

Export the report

You can download the report and work with it outside the system:

  1. Click the Export button.
  2. Choose Export to Excel to download the data in Excel format (.xlsx), which works with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, or Export to CSV to download the data in CSV format, which works with any spreadsheet program.

Tip

The Excel format is best for sharing the data with the insurance company or for keeping a copy. The CSV format is useful if you need to import the data into another system.
